Public transport (bus or taxi) is the most convenient option for getting around Vigo. On the website of the bus company, Vitrasa, you can plan routes, download a mobile app, or check real-time schedules. If you choose the flexibility of taxis, there are taxi ranks distributed throughout the city. If you decide to use a private vehicle, the main priority will be finding parking. The city has been renovated in recent years to make it more pedestrian-friendly, so street parking—especially in the city center—is difficult. For this reason, it is recommended to use one of the many public parking garages, all of which have similar rates.
